On origin I own every pack. Last week when Steam had the free to play for the weekend I decided to try and download it as I thought it would be fun to play just base game. After downloading it launched with the sims game I already had downloaded. Besides being kind of disappointed I wasn't able to play just base game, everything else was just fine. Until the free weekend ended, Whenever I tried to launch the game it goes straight to steam telling me to buy the game. I have already went through the full page of troubleshooting provided by the ea helpdesk and nothing helped. Everything from uninstalling to deleting caches. When I go to the library for the sims 4 and click on it, it only shows details. when right clicking there is no "repair game" option. and after uninstalling the sims 4 I am unable to even redownload because all I can see is the details button. I think I half to somehow delete the free trial from steam and Uconnect the two accounts, but I'm not completely sure. Writing this is my last resort. (sorry for language my English is not very good). Thank you.

@SamAnn15  Try clearing Origin's cache and restarting your computer.

If that doesn't help, you'll need to contact EA customer support for help with this.  Yes, you need to unlink your two accounts, but you may also need to remove the Steam version of the game from your Origin account.  Only EA support can do this, not the player.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.
