custom content gone after update

i have alot of custom content in my game and after the last update while my content is still in my game but it took everything out that i had already built and now i have to rebuild everything including my person, is this going to happen everytime there is an update? if so i would prefer NOT to update my game period, i dont want to keep starting over everytime there is an update, how can i avoid this problem in the future?

Personally I don't use CC or mods, but it's advised to take all your mods and CC out of the EA folder before updating.

I would suggest to make an back up before updating as well:

If your game auto updates, you can turn that off in the Origin settings.

The game automatically disables custom content and mods when it updates. Re-enable them in the options menu. It's designed to do that for safety and, to insure a good update.
