create a sim

Hi, i just downloaded the sims 4 get to work and when i go into create a sim I cannot change my sims face or clothes. It is saying that no option is available because of a filter but there isn't any filter?? I've restarted the game and PC several times but it hasn't worked. Has this happened to anyone else?
