Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? title says it all
What happens when the bug occurs? every item of furniture is deleted leaving an empty shell
What do you expect to see? OMG! I want to see the house decorated - not even a Sim would be happy renting an empty house
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Sorry can't be bothered testing without mods - I spent 2 a bit hours really chilled out playing the game with my little Sim building & decorating - then instead of saving a copy to the gallery I moved my little Sim into another house and went straight back into build mode to change the lot type and it cleared everything out. This is supposed to be a game!

@reboot2019 Was it not empty in live mode ?

Did you sell the furniture when you moved out ? If you kept it, it should be in your Sims inventory.

no fully furnished in live mode, didn't sell furniture when test sim moved out - it was only when I went back to convert the lot into a rental that the game stripped out every thing leaving an empty shell - haven't played since so I haven't been able to test with other lots. It's an old save game and it bugs out too frequently to be enjoyable.

@reboot2019 If you didn't sell the furniture, then you took it with your Sim though. I can't duplicate your issue at all.

Could you please check the household inventory of your Sim that moved out.
