connection to EA servers

I have just paid for and downloaded the sims 4 and am trying to launch the game through Origin. Every time I try i get an error message saying:

We are unable to connect to EA servers....

Can you please advise when the servers will be back up? Or I will request a refund.

Hello,

I'm currently on vacation in a neighboring country (Canada to US) and thus trying to use a different computer to play The Sims 4 on my origin account. Every time I try to launch it, it says I cannot connect to EA servers using this computer. Is there a work-around for this? I can't get in touch with an adviser.

So I had to do a fresh install of windows recently due to some errors with my drivers etc.

Today, I reinstalled Origin & The Sims 4, only to get the following error:

I only have one Origin/EA account and there's no other ones associated at all.

Please help me I just wanna play it! :c

I was hope for some help, when I go to play the Sims 4, I got a message that say:

"we're sorry, an error has occurred"

"Unable to connect to EA Servers to activate (Game Title) on this computer using your account. Please try again later"

Things a have try:

1. Turn off all firewalls

2. uninstall origin 

3. Untick Proxy Servee but I use Wifi

4. Origin Cache clear

Back ground:

I'm on windows 10, I connect to the internet on wifi. This doesn't just happen for sims 4 it also simcity.

Just try and My account work with my girlfriend laptop

Any ideas are welcome

Loads of us are getting the same error message of not being able to connect to EA's servers, whats going on??

I just bought/downloaded Sims 4 (on Mac) and I can't even open the game! An error comes up saying that I cannot connect to the EA servers.

I called tech support through EA and they said I just have to wait 24 hours and they hung up!

Someone please help!
