whenever i try to download my store bought content into my game launcher (sims 3) it keeps loading up the sign in menu where i have to put in my password. After i hit okay it keeps making me sign in(even when it says im signed in) no matter how many times i put in my password it wont stop ringing up the option and wont load any of my downloads into the game launcher. i tried deleting all my custom content and worlds to try reinstalling them but it keeps bringing up this sign in option EVERYTIME i try to download anything. please, please help, my next step is just deleting it and redownloading, which sucks cause ill lose all my data

@KiarraPruden Are you unable to sign into the launcher? Try clearing the cache for Internet Explorer. Even if you never use it, the launcher does for some purposes. Be sure to uncheck the box to preserve data for favorite sites.

But if it doesn't work, you can skip this step. You don't need to be signed into the launcher to download your content. Just go to the store site, load your purchase history or the product page(s) for whatever you want, and download from there. It's better to use Firefox or Explorer (not Edge but the old IE) than other browsers. It can also help to have the launcher open before you start the download, although that's usually not necessary.

I have this same problem.
My launcher is blank on the "welcome page". I log into thesims3.com just fine. I try to download my recently purchased world, and the launcher asks me to log in. And log in. Aaaaand log in again. I've reset Edge. I've reinstalled Origin. I've tried using the downloads tab in the actual game. When the "welcome page" isn't blank anymore I get:
This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying."# |

@Skrulla You'll need to reset Internet Explorer, not Edge; they're still two different browsers. The launcher uses IE because that's what was current when the game was released. Be sure to uncheck the box to preserve data for favorite sites.
