can you enlarge the menu so you can see better in sims 3

I do not have the best eyesight, but have been able to play without major issues before. However, since I got a new computer I can't see the menu bar without straining my eyes. Especially the Buy, and Build - modes, where i can barely see the pictures of the items. Is there any alterations I can do that i haven't found?

@LovLio  You can try lowering the resolution in the game settings. This should enlarge the whole display. Remember what the resolution was so you can set it back if you don't like it. Please don't create multiple posts about the same issue. It makes helping you more difficult as you may be getting different replies. Thank you
