can i install sims 4 on my computer using a friend's disc?

I got my daughter Sims 4 for her birthday.  She installed in on her laptop, under her origin account.  I'd like to put it on my laptop.  Can I install it under my origin account, or do I need to use her account?  I entered the code from the disc box, but it says "code already used".

You need to use her account. But you can't play at the same time.
