I have the same problem, the second disk doesn't appear in my laptop when checking my computer and the sims installation page keeps telling me to insert disk 2 which I've done but like I said it doesn't actually appear on my laptop. Report ID : 06ecc07470005b02

I've been having the same problem too. I don't know why I thought it would be easier to buy the disc and install rather than going through the tiresome process that origin takes you through I couldn't have been proven more right. I've been waiting for this game to come out in the UK  and I've spent the last two days trying to play the bloody game. Each time I go to press play it comes up witheither an error message or restarts my computer without warning.
