Are u actually able to play in the sims 4 demo or do u need the full version to play in the town/city

 sorry no the demo is just for creating sims /creatingsaving/sharing/

if you have the full version of the game once you create your sim/sims then tick accept (save and play ) then you'll be taken to the loading screen to select a world to play in and then select your house to play in
