application ts4_x64.exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware

I just downloaded the sims 4, when I open the it, there are blue dots and weird lines all over the main screen where you press play. I pressed play and then it gets worse when create a sim pops up. Then it shows the blocked from graphics hardware message and freezes. How do I fix this? I just want to play the game.
