Yet again after another update i cant play my sims 4,

I updated my game yesterday, then today when i was playing it, my sims would not cook or take food from the fridge. ( the same thing it did with one of the other updates) so i came out of the game and now will not even load past the SIMS4 screen.

Please help want it sorted before the new expansion pack comes out.

thanks for your help, i cleared all my files and uninstalled, started from scratch its working fine now.
