Wrong Release Date

I live in New York and my release date for the Sims 4 is the European release date and time (but for my time zone). Can anybody help me with this? I have the game preloaded but when I try to play it, it just says that it won't be released until the third. I've already contacted customer support multiple times before this and they've checked everything that I have: ip address, reinstalling origin, etc. They all ended up telling me to just wait and see if I could play on the second (today) anyways. Which was not helpful in preventing this issue as now it's an actual issue. I preordered in December and I would really like to play this game that I've been waiting for! Thanks.

Does it also give you a time on the third ? It might be that Origin wrongly recognizes your IP to be somewhere else.

Did you try restarting your router ?
