Ok so my computer is running on window 10 the SIMS 3 will start but it will not let me click on anything but the town I want to select I cannot play button or anything. just select sunset valley and other towns.when I click on other buttons nothing happens.

For anyone else who happens to be reading along, the OP's computer is this model:

It's a Lenovo Ideapad with hardware that cannot be expected to support even the moderate demands of TS3, which is likely why the game wouldn't launch.  It's unfortunate, but playing on this computer isn't advisable and may be impossible.  Therefore, I'm marking this as solved.

@Para4434  This sounds a bit unusual.  Have you ever been able to play on this computer?  A good place to start would be a dxdiag—you can run one and attach the results to a post here (use the Browse button).  That will cover your computer's specs and a lot of other issues all at once.

This is it. I had a graphics card issue but resolved it but now this still isn't working please help lol.
