@KaraRose24601 Honestly, I doubt the game would do much more than load, if that. With only 2 GB RAM, the game won't have any room to maneuver, and neither will Windows. The processor and its graphics chip are also quite weak, so even if you upgraded the memory, the laptop might struggle to run the base game, let alone any packs.
I don't know where you're shopping, but just so you know, this laptop's hardware is a full decade old. Even the cheapest $200 new laptops would be significantly faster, and those wouldn't run Sims 3 well either.
