@Karolinekit If your discs are registered in Origin and they appear in your game library, then yes, everything should work fine with no additional effort on your part. However, if your base game and packs are not registered, Origin may not recognize them or allow you to use them once you've installed a new pack through Origin. It's not always clear why this happens—players in what looks like the same situation may have different results—so I can't really give you any more specific advice than that.
Please also keep in mind that some packs, in particular Pets and Seasons, are much more demanding than the base game. So if your computer is already struggling to run the content you currently have installed, it may not be a good idea to add more.
