Why is my sims 3 for mac glitching?!?! [ Edited ]

I have had the Sims 3 for about 3 years now for my Mac
I have gotten the expansion pack pets, and seasons also. Shortly after getting seasons the game started to glitch. For example if I click for my sim to go home she will take one step then freeze, then take another step and freeze. That goes on with any command I give. And even when their Doug nothing it still freezes and goes like that. So I uninstalled seasons and still no luck. The game just gave me the option to move my family to another town, so thinking that I tight stop the glitching I clicked yes, but my family still ha sent moved and it won't let me save or quit cause my family is in the prosses of "moving" idk what to do, now I can't even get off of the game let alone play it. Please HELP SOS!!!""
