White screen - Laptop AMD Radeon 540X GPU good enough?

Hello. I appreciate any help on this issue. I've search the other threads and have not found an answer.

• Downloaded Sims 4 Deluxe through EA's Origin app.
• When launching Sims 4, a white screen appears.
• I can hear the intro music.

I assume this is an issue with my laptop's spec:

• Intel i7-8565 CPU @ 1.80GHz, 4-core processor.
• 16 GB RAM.
• Dedicated graphics card; AMD Radeon 540X GPU.
• Windows 10 Home, 64-bit.

The graphics card is potentially the issue. Please let me know your thoughts.

@Marky_Mark_Sal  Your hardware isn't great for Sims 4, but it should be sufficient to run the game on medium grpahics settings.  You might get lag or crashing if your settings are too high, of course, but that's different than not being able to play at all.  An immediate white screen suggests that the problem is less likely to be directly due to your hardware and more likely to be software related.

On that note, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
