Seriously, EA? I mean, really, now you guys are just pissing me off.

It pains me to say this, because for years I felt that your company always made superior sports games back when you had competition. Although not as stellar by comparison, the latest efforts are still great games. For the most part, I love your products. Hell, I even grew up in the town where you built  your current headquarters and have played many a games on your basketball courts you so graciously made available to the public. In person, I can't say a bad thing about any of your employees that I have met.

However, the declining standard of which customer service has been handled with myself personally has been ridiculous over the last 2 years. There used to be a phone line with friendly staff who were usually able to solve most problems in 2-5 minutes tops. Slowly but surely, the call center was reduced and ultimately wiped out replaced by the unpopular call you later option (by the way, calling in the middle of a work day and being shocked when they don't answer in mind-blowing to me) in which you were lucky to get a call back at all. Well with calling someone and actually talking to a person out of the question, we were then forced to rely mostly on live chat. Most of those people clearly had no authority, no ability to rectify anything, and almost certainly had no help to offer me at all. However, usually after arguing with the person on the other end of the live-chat I could eventually get their boss to offer me some DLC of an insignificant value($1.50 or less) or a discount to buy another game from you despite never fixing my issue. Business advice: if your product doesn't work the way it is supposed to, giving me a discount on another one of your products is not appealing and does not really make me happy I'm giving you my money.

But now, I'm left with email as my only option. The last time my issues with your company arose, I was left with an email option. I received no response for a week, and then got an email saying my issue had been resolved when nothing had been done... and I mean nothing. I have been a loyal customer pretty much since the inception of this company. I have spent hundreds if not thousands on your products by now and I know I'm not the only one. And that's the treatment that we all get? I'm posting this because this is just stupid. I seem to have something go wrong in one of your games through no fault of my own and basically get shrugged shoulders every time now. No genuine effort is made to make the customer happy. No actual effort is put in by anyone to actually satisfy how we feel. I understand that we're just playing video games and should not take them seriously. Well, anything I spend hundreds of dollars on, I expect it to work. And if it does not work, I expect the company who made it to either: fix it or do something to make me have that situation be acceptable. That used to happen..... Now it's the furthest thing from it.

How sad.
