When I download CC Hair it doesn't work and ends up streaky

So I hardly download hair from The Sims Resource as it's always like streaky, and I do download the original hair and mesh but it doesn't work. It comes out with like Blonde streaks and doesn't work.
I usually download Maxis Match hair as it's easier and have no problems with it, but just wish I could download CC hair from Sims resource
