When I clicked on (for ex: the trumpet) tone for my female Sim... [ Edited ]

..all the female tones change into male voice tones. Now, one of my female Sims sounds like a "typical dude". This has happened before, but it resolved itself when I got out of the game and went back in.  It doesn't crash my game, but it's kind of annoying. Anyone else have this problem???

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

I do not think that is the case... I don't know how to put mods on, but I have been using cheat codes?? Is that the same thing? I'm quite new to this Sims thing actually; I've only played MySims and Sims FreePlay before this.
