Hello. I’ve asked this before but I forgot. What computer would be good for sims 4 so I can actual play and be able to go online. Nothing too expensive. Just something that works. Please help a girl out ASAP.

@AbbyLand27 Please let me know your current budget so I can look for suitable options. The best available laptops will have changed in the last four months, so your earlier thread isn't really relevant anymore.

@puzzlezaddict Hello. Budget needs to be under 600$. It cannot be too expensive. But obviously not really cheap if it’s not gonna work. Let me know ASAP. Thank you!

@AbbyLand27 I was all set to do a thorough search, but one of the first laptops I found was this one:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/645865244
I'm not sure why it's so cheap; laptops with this hardware would normally be around $650. But if you like it, it's as good as you're going to see for under $600.
If you don't like it, there are plenty of options like these:

If you don't like those either, let me know why so I can narrow the search.
Gaming laptops are unfortunately not discounted at all, likely due to the overall shortage, and start in the $700-800 range.

Hello,
I am in the market for a new laptop for the Sims. I swap between 3 and 4 depending on my mood. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for a laptop that would work well with both games.
I read that windows 10s and 11s may pose a problem, but I believe I also saw on another thread you commented on that there maybe work arounds for this?
But I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer if there is a computer that would work well for both of these games, be it an apple or pc. I am open to either.
I don’t use my computer for anything else besides Sims-ing pand don’t need something anything too crazy. A girl just wants to be able to play 3 and 4 without issue. Thank you so very much for any help!!

@shoet318 It's easy enough to switch out of S mode in both Windows 10 and 11, so that's not a reason to avoid buying a computer. However, most devices that come with S installed have hardware that would struggle to run the most demanding Sims 3 packs. Just something to keep in mind.
If you list your budget and country, I can look for some good options for you. Or if you prefer to do the shopping yourself, let me know, and I'll write out some specs you should look for.

@AbbyLand27 Yes, that should work great, in fact much better than any of the options I linked. If you're willing to pay a bit more than $600, it's an excellent choice.
