Weird in-game login glitch

Hi, I've bought TS3 from the Humble Bundle and registered the game+expansions on the site. I'm able to login on the website and in the launcher. However when I login in-game, the game tries to register a new account. Does anyone else have this problem?

However, that didn't work, but I solved the issue anyways. All I had to do was log out from the launcher and then log in again. Thank you again for your help.

Yes, I had it what you do is when the sims pops up with your sim under the sim at the very bottom to the left of the check mark will be a button saying connect, click this and it should sync with your account though make sure your email and account are the same as you used on the sims 3 website!
