Want to move my family from Willow to Myshuno. Can't find how to do it

I want to move my family, with it's accumulated cash, from Willow to San Myshuno but can't work out how to do it.  No-one else has mentioned the problem so either I'm being thick or I need to start a new game with a  sim in the new city.  Only bought the expansion pack yesterday) and was up till 2 this morning trying to solve the problem.

Any advice please?

Don't worry, you don't need to create a new save game, just follow these steps:

1.- Go to Manage Worlds:

If you have just loaded your game, you will be in Manage Worlds already. If you are already playing with your family, you can go to Manage Worlds using this button:

2.- Select your family

3.- Click on the 'Move' button

4.- Select the neighborhood you want to move them to, in this case, San Myshuno

5.- Choose an apartment for them to move to

6.- Select if you want to move and sell your objects or move with them. If you choose 'Keep furniture', it will be saved in your family inventory. If you choose 'Sell furniture', the furniture will be sold and you will get simoleons for it.

7.- Apply the changes!

Your family is in their new home!

I just downloaded City Living and San Myshuno will not open. It says there are a few more downloads to download but I can't do anything. It says to restart the game and I have no idea how to do that. I was going to move a family from Oasis Springs to San Myshuno and I can't.

Hi @oIiviaD,

Welcome to the forums!

Restarting the game means to close it, and open it again.

It's possible City Living is not completely downloaded yet, and that's why you are getting that message. I'd check if Origin is still downloading something before opening the game again.

If Origin is not downloading anything and you are still getting that error message, try to repair your game. To do so, right click on the game on your Game Library, and select the 'Repair' option.
