Video Card Requirements

I did not have a good enough video card to play the Sims 4, so I am buying a new one. The game case says an ATI Radeon X1300 will be good enough. Will the 128MB version of this video card work with the system? That's the kind I bought online, but now I'm second guessing if I should have bought the 256MB. Please tell me that the 128MB will work. I've had enough struggle getting this game working.

Same here. My video card wont work and i have already spent way to much money on this game as it is !! Its super fustrating!

The game can run with 128MBs. of dedicated video memory.
It's actually what it needs to run.

Hello,

The 128MB version of the Radeon X1300 will work, however you would only be able to play the game at the lowest settings. I would expect unfortunately you would be limited to playing the base game, as adding expansion packs can often cause performance losses and the game may become unplayable.
