Verdant Mushrooms turning into wild mushrooms in my inventory

Every time i harvest the verdant mushrooms in my inventory they become wild mushrooms.  I cannot complete my errand

@crinrict Have tested both with and without mods, with the same result. It says Harvest Wild mushrooms, but the plant is Verdant Mushrooms.

And when I plant both varieties, both become Verdant Mushrooms.

@Nettis2009 Did you plant new ones after removing mods ? Delete localthumbcache file ?

@crinrict Deletes localthumbcache file when I delete mods, but I have not planted without. But I managed to get a plant verdant mushroom that can be harvested verdant mushroom on now. So I'm going to keep planting, so maybe I can figure out the difference.

I am having the same issue. I don’t use mods or CC at all. When my sim ate one of the wild

mushrooms, it had the same effect as a verdant mushroom (the effect says “from verdant mushroom”) but the item in the inventory still says wild mushroom and won’t let me complete the quest that requires a verdant mushroom.
