Uploading of DLC Content to MAC OS

Hello,

Recently I have downloaded "Sims 3" on my MAC. Originally I have the game and several DLC ("Pets"; "Supernatural"; "Island Paradise") through Steam. So, when I started up the game on MAC OS all DLC's had not uploaded. Is it due to purchase from Steam or some other reason?

Today I have received a gift from my friend - Sims 3 Pets7 Although we are from the same country I can't add the DLC to my Steam library. Do you have any suddestions about this? There is the purchase number: <edit for security reasons>

The Sims 3 is not available for OS X through Steam. You should be able to register your product codes in Origin and download the Mac versions there.
