Uploading my saved games to a new game

Hi! I need help on restoring a saved game.

The problem started because the game would not open so I needed to uninstall it and reinstall it again. Before I deleted it, I copied all the files so that it would be saved. Now that I reinstalled it, I found that it had deleted all of my information. I don't know how to upload my saved files to my new game.

If you could please help me I would be very thankful. I have worked very hard in some houses and families and I would hate to have to restart everything I have done.

@dianasilvera Since you made a backup of your saves before reinstalling, all you need to do is copy back those saves to the newly created folder documents\electronic arts\the sims 4\saves

That should get your saves back.

If you have other things like mods/cc, screenshots, .. you can just copy those back to the corresponding folders as well.
