Unregister Sims 3 from previous owner

I bought Sims 3 used with expansion packs yesterday. But it now appears to be unable to play on my computer due to it being registered to previous owner. How can she unregister this game so I can register it myself?

@TobbeWestlin  There's no way to transfer games or codes from one account to another, sorry.  EA doesn't allow sharing or transferring games.  So there's unfortunately no way for you to add these discs to your account.
