Unknown error sims 3 HELP

Hello there, I deleted all my sims 3 games a month ago, and then today, I downloaded it again, but everytime I try to open it up, it says "Unknown error occured" I hope you can help me. I actually downloaded it twice today, because first time it didn't want to open up, then I uninstalled it, and downloaded sims 3 and then sims 3 Island paradise, and then it comes up with unknown error.

I hope you can help me.
