Unable to access the update that fixes the crashes on the newest update

Hi,

I did the update for the new update (for platforms) about a week ago and since my game hasn't loaded and keeps crashing. I know that there has been a patch/update since to fix this bug but I can't seem to find it. I bought the game on Origin and that is where all my updates automatically show up. I've never had this problem before and I know someone else that is having this issue. Please help

@IzzieG6  Please open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  When it's done, right-click and Update.

If the game doesn't appear to update, you can restart your computer, clear Origin's cache, and try again.

If the game still crashes even after being updated, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
