UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURED THE SIMS 3

Hi, I just bought the Sims 3 starter pack. First I only downloaded the Sims 3 and the game was working so I decided download the expansion and the stuff pack that came with it. And now it says unknown error occurred. And I don't know why but, when I try to unload the game, the uninstaller doesn't see my game. So I uninstalled and deleted everything about the game manually and re-download everything back for the 6th time now. I going insane what am I suppose to do, PLEASEEEE HELP!!!!!!

@gunespeh35  Please reinstall both Late Night and High-End Loft Stuff, if you haven't already.  Then create an alias (icon) for Late Night in Applications > The Sims 3, alongside the icon for the base game.  Here's how:
