Trying to install Sims 4 - nothing happens.

Im trying to install Sims4. 

When I insert the disc, nothing happens.  I can hear it whirring but there is no trace of the game on my PC at all - no instructions pop up, nothing installs, no icons, nothing.  Ive tried Autorun but still nothing happens.

We have Origin installed from previous Sims3 games. 

The drive works no problem with other discs.

Hello,

Have you added Sims 4 to your Origin account?

If so, you should be able to log into the Origin client, go to My Games and choose to download it.

How do I added to my Origin account? I see nothing in the app. I will go try the website though.

When you go into the website, find something that says " My games library" you click on that and in the top right corner it says "Add a game" then you put in the product code that was in the box the CD came in and download the game.

Please don't respond to threads that haven't been posted in for so long. Generally when you post in a thread the other posters will get an e-mail notification about it, and if there hasn't been any posts for ~6 months then nobody is going to be still watching the thread for updates.
