Trouble with expansion packs

Okay so I have the base sims3 game, late night expansion, katy perry sweet treats stuff pack, and the generations expansion pack. For some reason my game can only be opened using the sweet treats disc, unfortunately I lost the disk for sweet treats. Theoretically I should be able to open my game using the generations disk right? But everytime I try all it says is that I have to put in the sweet treats disc help please!? I've been on hold with EA about the problem for 15 minutes!

You will always have to use the disc of the latest expansion or stuff pack, which is Sweet Treats in your case. Did you register all your games on the Sims website? You can always uninstall the disc version and download the games from the Origin client instead. You will not need the disc anymore then.
