I got an email that says that there is problem with my order. It says
"

You have received this email notification as a result of a transaction or as part of an update regarding an ongoing transaction with EA or one of its affiliates. There seems to be an issue with your payment method that prevented this order from going through.

but when I click there all it gives me is an about:blank webpage. what is going on? This is in reference to the sims 4 limited edition pre-order

Were you charged ? If not, just cancel and reorder.

 

If so, contact a game advisor

 

 

Game advisors can be found through live chat.

There are also a few things that you can check before that.

 

Go to https://www.origin.com/store/ and log in with your Origin account.

 

Click on "My Account" and then on "Order History" as you can see here:

You should then see your order like this:

Click on the + in front of the order to get the details (this is from my account when I tested the purchase process and therefore cancelled my order, your order details may look differently):

If your order details tell you that your payment didn't go through, you will have to put in a new order. 

 

There can be many different reasons why your order didn't go through. Here a list of the most common ones: Troubleshooting Payment Issues

 

This list should help you to put in a new order in time to be able to pre-load.

i got the same email cept my order is still processing   i talked to the advisors allready they sent my case to a specialist  my order was allready billed.. but it doesnt show canceled

I checked my bank account and they charged me for it long ago yet they seem to be trying to re-bill me. If they do this I will file a fraud alert. I've told my bank to stop payment on anything from Electronic Arts for the time being cause the way EA's been acting as of late I don't trust them.

Contact a game advisor.

 

Usually you should not be billed in advance so only they can help you

I was already billed for this game and then i got an email saying my payment didnt go thru i seen they charge on my card statement back in april so i was under the impression my game was paid for. and since this was not the case i just canceled my order im not gonna be charged 74.19 twice.. I hope EA and Origin fixes this problem soon or theyre gonna lose alot of pre orders with the game coming out in two days.

Were you charged in full in April ? It might have just been a small amount to verify your card which you have later gotten back.

 

In any case, for problems with payments, you should contact a game advisor since we can't help with those. We're users here like you.

There was so I went to EA Help, live chat, and they canceled my order and I put in a new order and it was accepted and I'm downloading the game now using the pre-download.  It's taking over 2-3 hours not so they much be quite busy.

I have the same issue and they are trying to find out what happened because the full amount came out of my prepaid visa and yet now it says it is in process..  I bought the game on the first day of pre-order and i am very frustrated because i have purchased all but 2 of any type of Sim game from The Sims to Simfarm and Simcity and yet here it is with The Sims4 and i paid for it and now am being asked to pay for it again and the only response i get is there is some issue and we will get back to you on Monday which is a holiday and so there is no guarantee that they will be there to assist.
