(i posted this on the wrong board)

The Sims 3 Serial Code won't work. Alright, i bought the game twice, the first time. the Game worked but i deleted after day because of storage problems (I was going to change location). I bought the game in 2013-2014 but I couldn't reinstall it. So i bought it again but the serial code didn't work (well it did but i did pop up in my library) and I even bought it in a real store. Now i want to know why isn't working. Now then i lost one of my disc shortly after with the serial code since i was trying to make it work. I have waited since 2014. I try and try again to see i can get to work, read a lot of forums and stuff. Please Help. I just watch to play The Sims 3. (I also bought some dlc, i don't know if i install them, but i am pretty sure i did)

My serial number: * {u should not show private info on public}

(sorry for the image, i took it on my GoPro and then it was too small so i resize it on Microsoft paint)

Re: The sims

@INEEDALIF3  I'm not sure exactly what you've tried so far, so I'll just cover everything.  When you buy a disc copy of TS3, the code you receive can also be registered in Origin, and then the game will show in your Origin library.  You can then download the game for free instead of installing via disc.  This is convenient for people who don't have disc drives and whose computers won't authenticate TS3 discs.

It should be noted that if you uninstalled the game from your computer but didn't clean the registry, you may have trouble reinstalling on the same computer.  However, the registry holds the same game code that you can register in Origin.  So if this is the code from the disc you misplaced, you might want to save the registry key elsewhere on your computer (or write down the code) rather than just deleting it.

Each code can only be registered once and cannot be used again, even in the same account.  So if you're trying to add the code to your account and are getting an error, you likely already added it to an account.  If you bought dlc from the Sims 3 store (store.thesims3.com) then you must have registered a copy of the game at some point.  You can login to the store and check your page to see a list of your owned packs.  Your account is for both the store and Origin, so any game registered in one should show up in the other.

If you already registered the serial code and can't find it in your Origin library, you can try clearing Origin's cache, or even uninstalling and reinstalling Origin only; this wouldn't affect any other installed games you have.

If you can't find the account in which your code was registered, you'll need to contact EA customer support to sort it out.  No one here can see your account details (or do anything with the code you listed).  It would be helpful to take more photos of your discs and cases, as well as one of the insert that shows the printed code, to provide the CS rep as proof of ownership.
