The sims 4 won’t connect to the internet [ Edited ]

For the past two weeks, I haven’t been able to get my sims 4 to connect to my internet. I’ll open my game and it’s will say I have notifications on the gallery. I click it and it says a connection is require, then asks connect or stay offline. I click connect and it says unable to go online. It’s really making me mad because I like to share my builds to the gallery. 

Edit:I just got on for the first time in probably two weeks and it was working. So if it’s not working for you I’d suggest just trying to wait it out.

 Also IMPORTANT!

Check if your Origin is up to date. 

If it isn't,  you will see info about the available update on the top of the page when you open Origin 

After update turn off your router/WiFi completely for about 2 minutes and then turn it back on

If all these steps will not work 

uninstall Origin using Revo (free version) - it will be clean all traces of Origin from your computer

If you prefer to uninstall Origin manually - clean  computer with Ccleaner after this but  using Revo is much easier 

and download the older version of Origin

Run the game as Administrator from the desktop icon instead of Origin

@ketcham_7 i just tried to play sims 4 and when i went to the gallery its saying connect online or stay offline and i clicked connect online and its not working!!!!
