The sims 4 game opens origin but not the game.

Today I tried to plat the sims 4 but instead of opening the game, when I click on the games icon it just opens origin. What do I do?

i do have cc but erasing it is not an option, neither losing my files or saves. Is there any solution?? I’m panicking.

Thanks for the reply.
I managed to find out that the reason was a coffee table for the sims 3 that managed to slip without me noticing in wasn’t for my game!
I extracted and erased the file and now the problem is gone. 👍🏼
