The sims 3 not working [ Edited ]

Hi! I'm reaching out after DAYS of attempting to make the sims 3 work. I purchased it with some expansions a few months ago, and it never worked. The launcher appeared, but when I clicked play, a window appeared saying that the game can't load. I retried some days ago, and now the game launches, the screen goes black, but then a window appears saying "Unable to start game, service initialization failed" and just goes back to the app

Now I noticed that in the expansions and stuff section of the launcher, my packs aren't there, so I thought "oh maybe that's the issue", so I clicked on "download packs'

Welp

Now I can't click "play game" anymore on the EA app. Its just frozen. No download screens, just a grey button, so I had to restart my computer

Honestly I would just leave it like that if I hadn't spend 20€ on this. Is there something I can do?

@Torastrawhat  Please uninstall Sims 3 with Revo Uninstaller (the fre version is fine).  Remove the EA App with Revo as well.  Install the App again, then create a completely new folder where you'll install Sims 3.  That folder should be on the root level of the drive of your choice, for example C:\Games is fine, but not C:\Program Files\Games.

Install Sims 3 there and let me know whether it runs.  Please also let me know whether your DLC shows up in the launcher's Expansions & Stuff Packs tab this time.  If not, it's likely an account issue, not your doing, and clicking the button to install your packs won't accomplish anything.
