The sims 3 expansion packs missing

Hi everyone, today I updated my origin account to an adult account, but now the expansion packs I had are missing. I bought both of them online, so I don't have the disc, and also, before the update they didn't show up on origin but only in the game menu. I really don't know how to reinstall them again so I hope someone can help (also, sorry if I made some mistakes, english is not my first language)

@Eden_serendipity  Where did you buy the packs online?  Some sellers can provide bad codes, which would explain why your packs aren't showing.  Just to check, though, what does it say under the icon for each pack?  Click on the Sims 3 icon in your game library, then select More > Expansion Packs, and scroll down until you see your missing packs.  Does it say Buy Now, Details, Install, or Play?  (I'm not sure what the equivalents would be in your language, but the meaning should be clear enough.)

But either way, the first step to troubleshooting is clearing Origin's cache.  If that doesn't help, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin itself, which wouldn't affect your installed games.

I'm so sorry for the late reply, but I bought the expansion packs on G2A and I could play with them at first, but after the update they won't show up both on Origin and in the game. Btw thank you for your suggestions, I'll try them out and see If that will solve the problem
