The game won’t run

I have bought Sims 3 and The Pet expansion. I have downloaded cc and it worked but the all a sudden it just stoped. It got installera and everything but when I press play the screen just keep on bero g black and not changing to the game. Is there something wrong with the game or just the computer. It’s a Windows 10 I am using for this. Happy for quick answer. )

@Spykistensaga  There are a number of reasons why the game might crash or fail to load.  A dxdiag would help narrow things down; you can run one and attach it to a post.
