The game won't let me remove items from my gallery, how do I fix this?

I upload everything I make to my gallery as soon as I finish creating and sometimes I upload it before I'm completely satisfied. I've always been able to remove things with ease but the past few days I've been having trouble with it. I go to remove something and it seems like it's gone, but when I reload the gallery, it's still there. I'm just getting really frustrated.
