The game is not responding

When I click the game to play it, nothing but the taskbar appears. I can't click any of the buttons and if I close it down it says the sims 4 is not responding and shuts down.

All I can see is the logo, -, full screen button and the red X. I can't click any of them. I have refreshed my laptop and origin and it is still occurring. How can I get it back?

Try reinstalling Origin and make sure to get the newest version here: http://origin.com/download
