The chefs I hire in Dine out aren't showing up

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hire chefs
What happens when the bug occurs? When I open the restaurant The chefs I hire won't come to work and random chefs show up in their places, and they aren't counted as employees so I can't train them because it's a different chef every day. Plus I can't lock doors for everyone except employees.
What do you expect to see? The chefs that I hire show up to work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

None of my CC is causing this I already checked the game was doing this as soon as I bought it.

Tried this on my save, can't duplicate. Probably a mod related.

You can, but not for _doors_. The current game break all doors.

You need to create a fenced area in front of the main door. (porch, i mean) Create a Gate and lock it.

And if you have MCCC, flag all your employees "Freeze Career (MCCC Career)".

This game sometimes change your employees to do other task, such as festival's vendor role.

When this happens, your  "Manage Employees" section will become empty.

To prevent this, you need to flag them to "freeze career" so they won't leave your business.

This bug existed for a long time and I get used to it by freezing their career to mine.

what kind of cc/mods are you using ? Did you have any in when you bought DO ?

Do the right ones come the first day ?

Do you change anything about the Sims you're using as chefs before you open the restaurant (move them in, change clothing) ? Is it just the chefs or other employees as well ? Do the correct ones still show in your employee tab ?

Do you play rotationally ?

I have this same problem. I hire a chef and then a random npc shows up instead. It's only the chef. All other employees work. I have also tried starting a new game and the same problem happens.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I actually figured out my issue. But no it was not in Sulani. It was an outdated mod causing the problem.

There was a bug with the restaurant staff at Sulani but the last patch fixed it.
So it looks like you have some outdated mod that causes it.
After each update, most scripts mods and a large part CC will be spoiled and will spoil the game. Checking what broke down this time after the patch, and replacing these broken ones by a new updated version or deleting these is the price the player pays for using CC and mods
Move the mods folder to the desktop.
Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game, also delete all folders with the word "cache" in the name - important!
Fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if a game is working now without mods and CC.
Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
You need to find a culprit and either remove it or replace it with an updated version
