The Update Broke My Game!

I downloaded the update, and now my game won't launch. It crashes at the plumbob. No mods, no CC. I repaired it, and nothing. I preordered Country Living, and the update has made a mess!

Hi, The same has happened for me. On top of this, my expansion packs are all saying 'not owned'! Please let me know if you find a fix to your issue as it may help mine

@JulianneALee  Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything yet; just see whether you can start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If you get another crash, please clear Origin's cache:

and repair the game: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
