Most probably but the final specs are not out.

I just hope it'll be compatiable with Windows 8. Back when I was getting Sims 3, I first had a earlier version of Windows for a flatscreen desktop and then I had two different laptops that had CD roms in them. Now I have a small notebook/laptop with no CD rom that has Windows 8, and my Sims 3 base game doesn't work properly.

Also when I tried Sims 3 on an old Iphone I no longer have the game rules and graphics were totally different. I hope EA could make similar models for all types of new computers, phones, and tablets. I'm thinking of getting a tablet by the end of the year, so I don't want to miss out.
