The Sims 4 wont start

★★★ Newbie

This Error appeared upon starting the game :

Error : [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51]

I have tried various ways to try to fix this, but until now none has worked.
i tried to fix it by enabling sharing with Electronic arts folder, that didn't work due to the file not being there AT ALL.
And i have until now, unsucessfully start up the game due to this error, some Forum's say that i have to start up the game so the file would appear, but as said.
The game cannot start due to the error.
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and origin.
And also trying other various ways.

At the time before i released this post, i have already sent a Error report.

Help will be very appreciated!

And thank you for taking your time to read my post Standard smile

Re: The Sims 4 wont start

★★★★★ Guide

Hi;

This error usually is the result of a Windows 10 user profile not having sufficient permissions to access game files. Try the following first:

1: Right-Click Origin or the Sims 4 icon on your desktop, select Run as Administrator. (You may receive a message asking for permission; if you do, accept.)

2: If you get a prompt for an Admin Password or something of the like, you may have to consult with another user of that computer that might be the Windows Administrator.

If you're the only user on the computer, try adjusting your user permissions in Windows, or creating a new Windows User to test if you can access the game via the new user profile.
