The Sims 4 will not open.

Hello

I downloaded my sims 4 game off of Origin and it has been running perfectly, and their hasn't been any problems until now. Whenever I double click on the game for it to open, it won't open and whenever I try to launch it from origin, Origin won't let me because the game is greyed out and when I click on the game in Origin, it gives me details on the game, but the play button is greyed out too. I've tried to change the compatibility and tried running it as an administrator, but it doesn't work.

*Before I wasn't playing in compatibility mode but now it isn't working.

I'd really appreciate some help. Thank you
