The Sims 4 kills sound on my PC.

Almost everytime I open the sims 4 since the most recent patch it kills all sound on my PC.It's only the sims 4. it does not happen with anything else. I have to restart my computer to get the sound back. I'm very confused.

@TheSpaark In the Sims 4 launch screen click options - check audio settings. How is your speakers connected to the computer?

I'm using a laptop so I don't have external speakers.
