After downloading The Sims 4 from Origin the day before, my Sims 4 has been stuck at "Installing..." for the past 12 hours. Please help!

Do you have a full admin account you're installing on or does it have any restrictions ?
Also check if your firewall/Antivirus isn't blocking the process

I know this is old, but I just wanted to chime in and say I fixed this simply by going in to task manager, quitting Origin, and then restarting Origin. When it came back, the game had finished installing and was ready to play.

I've done that but it still stuck on installing since September 2015

@SaeedSharif555 I think it is safe to say at this point there is something wrong with the installation. Is your installation the digital download or disc? Is your computer a pc or Mac?

Just saying I've had the same problem with Mass Effect 3, and I've solved finding a process from DXINSTALLER or something like that through task manager and ending it.

Cancel the installation and restart Origin. Then try again
